Why You Should Personal Brand?

Personal branding is the art of selling yourself to others. But why do people have to do this? Personal branding is important because it allows people to establish and maintain a positive reputation for themselves. A personal brand is essentially a tool by which people can increase their self-confidence and make the best possible impression in any given situation. It is an essential part of any marketing or public relations strategy, as it helps to generate interest and brand awareness.

Whether you know it or not, you have a personal brand. When you Google yourself, what pops up? These results are the first impression people will have of you. Is it a good one? Is the information you are sharing across LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media sites consistent? Whether you have a date or a job interview, chances are someone is going to Google you to learn more about who you are. The question is, do you want to allow your online reputation to take on a life of its own or control the narrative? With the proliferation of social media and the gig economy, it has become essential for everyone to embrace personal branding

If you don’t think what I’m telling is true, search for every possible personal account on social media. The owner account follower vs the business profile has significant deference. For example, look at Tesla and Elon Musk’s Twitter profiles.

It’s not the only one. There’s a lot! If there is a business and founder you know, just type and search for it, you’ll surely see the difference. If you don’t have anything on your mind yet, just look at me 😆. Spade Solution Profile vs My Profile. It is too obvious that people are more interested in people, not what they selling but who this is selling and that person’s story.

If you look at the Apple Company, you will also see the same story as well. People believed in Steve and that’s why people follow his ideas, buy products, and go crazy about it. Only because they trust in the person, not the logo on the product but the story behind where it comes from and who invented it.

So if you did not hear anything about personal branding before, start searching on google and follow that topic. It’s not that hard just need to speak it out and stand tall for the idea you believe.
